PS3

Ok, for all those who know me, my PS3 has been less of a gaming console and more of a way of life for me. Well, a couple of weeks ago my PS3 gave me the blinking red light of death, very similar to the Red Ring of Death experienced by Microsoft Xbox 360 owners. So I called Sony and they will fix it for $150. So now I wait for the box they have shipped me. Of course the PS3 failed with my new game in the system so i hope they can recover it. I take solice in the fact that the PS3 has an incredibly low rate of failure so the new unit will probably last me many, many years.

School update

So I spoke to the powers at ITT. They informed me that there is only 1 professor for the high level IT classes. Of course it is the professor I was having so many difficulties with. So I have decided to try to enroll in a new school.
There are several short falls for ITT technical school. The most apparent to me, is their accreditation. None of the schools I contacted will accept credits from ITT. I figured that most of my credits would not carry over, but none? Oh well.
So now I am faced with the prospect of starting over. Not just restarting my B.S in information technology, but completely redoing the work for an Associates as well. Given my choces of staying at a school that will not work with me or redoing all my work, I think I am going to opt to redo my work and get the most out of my education.
I have decided that once I know all the details such as financial aid, acceptence to the school, etc. I will let my classmates know where I am going and why.

Schoolwork

For the past 6 months or so I have been back in school. I am in the process of getting my BS in Information Systems Security. I have had very good grades up till now. However the last 5 weeks have been spent in a class with a professor who seems to have decided that it is his personal mission to weed out anyone he would not want to work with, by changing the rules at every opportunity. I am not so crazy that I think this is personal, I just think he is not a good teacher for online classes. I am at my wits end.
